Ching Ian Wee has been appointed CEO of Starcom China.
Ching joined Publicis in 2002, serving various management positions in Singapore and Japan before making the move to Shanghai, becoming MD of Zenith in that market. Most recently, she was COO of PMX in APAC, where she was tasked with future proofing China’s second largest central media trading platform with direct management responsibility for new media negotiations, operations and a team of 250 specialists. Ching brings a breadth of hands-on experience managing luxury, CPG, pharmaceutical and technology businesses, and is well positioned to further advance the growth, culture and marketplace position of the Starcom brand.
Ching will take over responsibilities previously held by Sapna Nemani, who will transition to the new role of chief intelligence officer for Publicis Media APAC.
